Losi got its start in the early days of R/C racing, when standard hobby grade cars were not meant for racing and could not withstand harsh landings or impacts. Losi began selling option parts for these cars, helping them survive off-road racetracks, leading to a surge in R/C racing popularity. This eventually led to the development of our first R/C car, the JRX2.

The Losi Hammer Rey is a SMART, Ready-to-Run Rock Racer with AVC, officially licensed and based off Casey Currie's U4 Racer. Equipped with a Spektrum 3150Kv brushless motor, Smart 130A ESC, and a DX3 transmitter, this car offers top-of-the-line RC experience. The Hammer Rey comes with LED light bars, official U4 Racer details, KMC Machete wheels, Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires, a Spektrum DX3 radio system, waterproof electronics, coil-over oil-filled shocks, and a sealed metal-gear transmission and diffs. It also features an independent front suspension, rear-loading battery, and a longer wheelbase.
