How did we get started? In the early days of R/C racing, the standard hobby-grade R/C car was not built for racing, nor could it endure the harsh landings and impacts of off-road tracks. Losi began by selling option parts for these cars that could withstand the tough terrain. This led to a surge in R/C racing popularity and eventually paved the way for Losi's first R/C car, the JRX2. From there, the rest is history.

The gyroscopic stabilization force created by the heavy steel flywheel does wonders for the motorcycle's stability. The 2700Kv motor spins the flywheel at over 22,000 rpm to enable the Promoto-MX to pivot around its center point. Additionally, lean bars are ready to catch the bike if the front tire washes out on loose dirt, helping it stay upright.

Losi Promoto-MX also features a servo saver with circular springs to provide consistency in steering while protecting the servo. Its head damping technology uses a fluid-filled friction chamber to control any possible "head shake". The bike's narrow chassis accommodates a full-size 2S hardcase LiPo within the rider's seat and includes a realistic rider figure complete with boots, a brain bucket, and riding gear.

Furthermore, the motorcycle comes with officially licensed Dunlop Geomax MX53 tires paired with true-spoke wheels and FXR Racing graphics. It also includes a front crash structure, a rear fender with a hinged elastomer sprung rear fender to increase durability, and molded composite skid plates to protect the electronics. The Promoto-MX also features rising rate rear suspension, front fork with an internal spring and dampener, and a race-inspired slipper clutch to ensure optimal performance.
